Dropping In…

Just a quick Hello from me…

Life has been wild lately.  I won’t bore you will details,  but what was suppose to be a month of catching up on organizing, enjoying the early part of summer and planning for a new school year has turned into:

1.  Sick kids–we seem to be catching every germ blowing through the air.  This week it’s something like mono, but we haven’t been diagnosed with that yet.  Trips to doctors are expensive and takes time away from home.  I am tired and stressed.

2.  Our big “clean out the garage project” has turned into having a pile of junk out in the driveway with no one energetic enough to put it back properly (or even improperly).  Having a yard sale helped some, but this project started in the middle of sicknesses and my husband and I have put it on the back burner for now.  Anyone passing by our house would most likely comment that we need to clean up the place-A LOT!

3.  Stressed mom-I am in survival mode despite having the best plan for the month.  I had many easy, short projects, but throw in a BIG therapy plan for two of my kids to help with learning problems, two trips with in the next few weeks to prep and plan for, sickness and 2 birthdays to celebrate this month and BAM!  I am tired and cranky.  No, I’m exhausted.  If I could take a last-minute cruise right now–even with the kids–I would!

So, my blog has suffered.  I have not awarded the May contests and I have not listed the June contests.  That will be done, just not today.  Today, I must wash dished and dirty clothes.  I am still in my pj’s at 11 a.m.

If any of you have any words of wisdom to give me, please comment!!!  I’d love to hear from you!!!

Even though it seems bad for me, I know it could be much worse.  Right now, I’m gonna shoot a little prayer up to God and thank him for all the many, MANY wonderful blessing I do have:)  It’s these bad days that make the good days so so good!

Stacy, We all know how you feel. These are the days you just want to crawl in a hole and ask everyone to leave you alone! Been there! Thankfully, today is NOT one of those days for me.
If there is any way you can get away by yourself for a few hours (or even better a night) try, try, try to do that. You know it works wonders to spend some quiet time with God and know that none of your little ones are going to be banging on the door with the next thing on their agenda – because we know they think the world does, indeed, revolve around their needs and desires! lol
Keep the strength and find the joy 🙂

Also, all of us who catch up on your blog, know that this has to be one of the last things on your list. You have more important priorities – don’t sweat it.
